BoosterPacks for LaunchPads

In LaunchPad speak, a shield is called a BoosterPack. Some are built by Texas Instruments, and many others by external manufacturers.

Just like the LaunchPad boards, the bring great value, with a careful design at very attractive prices.

There come is two sizes: 20-pin and 40-pin BoosterPacks.

Energia, the fork of the Arduino IDE and SDK for the LaunchPad boards, is no longer maintained. The last release 1.8.10E23 was published in December 2019.

​The official tools from Texas Instruments are Code Composer Studio, based on Eclipse with an online variant, and the SimpleLink SDK for the ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
