How to drive a large e-paper display in a small form factor?
E-paper displays require an external frame-buffer, hence the need for a large SRAM. For example, the Pervasive Displays 9.7" black-white-red e-paper display 960x672 requires 161280 bytes.
Recent MCUs pack or drive large amount of memory, like the Raspberry Pi RP2040 used in the very compact Seeed Xiao RP2040 board.
