Segger J-Link with LaunchPad MSP432
Although the LaunchPad MSP432 comes with a programmer-debugger, I wanted to try the Segger J-Link.
The standard example was built with Xcode, then uploaded and debugged with Ozone on my Mac. Really nice to have the same tools for all the boards! |
The programmer-emulator of the LaunchPad MSP432 needs to be disconnected from the MSP432.
Remove all the jumpers J101 except +5V, +3.3V and GROUND, and connect the flat SWD cable from the Segger J-Link to the XDS110 IN connector. The programmer-emulator of the LaunchPad can be used with other MCUs, to be connected to the XDS110 OUT connector. |
